Who we are

Serenoa Health ("we", "us") operates serenoahealth.com and sells the Wonder Pill supplement. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

You can contact us about anything in this policy at Admin@serenoahealth.com, or by post at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to sell you a product and keep you informed:

• Order details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, plus the product, size and subscription option you chose.
• Account details: the email address you sign in with and your order history.
• Marketing details: your email address and the date and time you gave consent to hear from us.
• Payment details: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive a reference to the payment and its status.
• Technical details: limited device and browsing information collected by cookies, as described below.

How we use it, and why we are allowed to

To take payment, ship your order and manage subscriptions (performance of a contract).

To send you marketing emails about products, offers and hair-health articles, only where you have opted in (consent). You can withdraw at any time.

To run analytics and, where you allow it, advertising measurement such as our TikTok pixel (consent).

To keep records of sales for tax and accounting, and to prevent fraud or misuse of our site (legal obligation and legitimate interests).

To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order (legitimate interests).

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to keep the site and your basket working. These are always on because the shop cannot function without them.

We use analytics and marketing cookies, including the TikTok pixel, only after you accept marketing cookies in our cookie banner. If you have not accepted, the pixel is not loaded and no advertising data is sent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need:

• Stripe, for taking and refunding payments.
• Mailchimp, for storing our mailing list and sending marketing emails.
• Our website hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores the site and its database.
• Professional advisers, or a buyer, if we ever restructure the business.
• Courts or regulators, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for six years to meet UK tax and accounting rules. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period afterwards so we can honour your opt-out. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete information we no longer need to keep.
• Restrict or object to how we use your information, including objecting to marketing at any time.
• Move your information to another provider.
• Withdraw consent you have given, such as for marketing emails or cookies.

Email Admin@serenoahealth.com and we will respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Marketing emails

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link at the bottom of it, or by contacting us. We will stop sending you marketing emails straight away. Order confirmations and other essential service messages are not marketing and will still be sent.

Keeping your information safe

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable payment and email providers. Some providers process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Children

Our products and site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and complaints

If we change this policy we will update the date below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
